
Dr. Shatrela Washington-Hubbard
Dr. Shatrela Washington-Hubbard currently serves as the Swinton A. Griffith III dean of the College of Business & Communication at Brenau University. She teaches in the areas of human resources and organizational leadership. Dr. Washington-Hubbard has worked in industry as a human resource generalist and human resource specialist in the area of training and development.
As a training development specialist, Dr. Washington-Hubbard developed training sessions for executive leaders, which included topics involving equitable hiring practices, ethics, and compliance with employment laws.
Dr. Washington-Hubbard previously served in various roles in the Technical College System of Georgia including her positions as the inaugural Director of the Center of Entrepreneurship and Business Development at Georgia Piedmont Technical College. In this role, Dr. WashingtonHubbard was able to facilitate partnerships amongst the Academic Affairs, Community Engagement, and Economic Development divisions at the college. Furthermore, Dr. Washington-Hubbard established partnerships with several school districts, chambers of commerce, entrepreneurship centers, and industry partners to advance entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education.
In the Georgia Public School System, Dr. Washington-Hubbard instructed business education courses while also working with several programs that provided support services for marginalized and neurodiverse populations. Dr. Washington-Hubbard served as a coordinator and instructor for hospital homebound students, ensuring the continuum of education opportunities while students were under short or long-term medical care. Additionally, Dr. Washington-Hubbard provided instructional opportunities for youth and teens who lived in the Alcove Youth Shelter in Monroe, Georgia, and she was a regional director for Achieve HighPoints academic services. In her role with Achieve HighPoints, Dr. Washington-Hubbard worked with low-income students in six school districts to ensure that the students had access to internet service and laptop computers in order to participate in online tutoring services.
Dr. Washington-Hubbard has served as a mentor for several programs including the BreakThru initiative (grant funded partnership between the University of Georgia and Georgia Institute of Technology) and Ladies in Waiting (Winterville, GA). Dr. Washington-Hubbard’s volunteer experience includes working with the HIRE UP program at the Atlanta Children’s Shelter. Through the program, she provided computer training and professional development sessions for parents experiencing homelessness. This work led to Dr. Washington-Hubbard’s research and presentations on the impact of the digital divide on marginalized populations. She also used this experience to advocate for services and support for homeless populations. Utilizing her graduate training in gerontology, Dr. Washington-Hubbard volunteered at Avery Place Senior Living and Memory Care Community (Winterville, GA) facilitating brain/memory activities with residents.
Dr. Washington-Hubbard has served on various boards. Her longest tenure is with NGBC Educational & Community Services, Inc. As a member of the board, Dr. Washington-Hubbard has directed fundraising initiatives, developed community partnerships, and solidified relationships with industry partners. Dr. Washington-Hubbard has also directed tutorial programs, summer enrichment programs, and community-based workshops for NGBC, Inc. Dr. Washington-Hubbard works annually on scholarship funds for the scholars currently sponsored by NGBC, Inc.
Dr. Washington-Hubbard completed a doctor of philosophy in learning, leadership, and organization development at the University of Georgia; a master in human resources at the University of South Carolina; and a bachelor of business administration with a major in risk management and insurance from Georgia State University. She holds graduate certificates in the areas of eLearning design, interdisciplinary qualitative research, and gerontology.

Lilia Postolachi Glover
Since 1996 Mrs. Postolachi Glover was involved in International Business Development, Marketing and Branding. Managing at the time the largest Tour operator in Moldova, she has opened bi- lateral partnerships with Turkey, Tunisia, Bolgaria and Romania.
In 2007, Mrs. Postolachi Glover was appointed as the Executive Dir. for International Department of the WTC Atlanta where she Directed international branding, marketing, business development, strategic planning, business program development, socioeconomic assessment, internal/external communications and implementation of joint go-to-market strategies for WTC Atlanta and it’s members.
Mrs. Postolachi Glover created one of the most successful International Internship programs with high rates of employment and many success stories of her students.
She is currently working in Washington DC for Enduring Hearts, a non- profit organization dedicated to funding critical research for children with transplanted hearts.
Mrs. Postolachi Glover was actively involved in life of Georgia’s International Community, she is a Member of WTC Atlanta, Board Member of Ghana International Chamber of Commerce, SE, and Omnichannel Global.
